2. Medical Disclaimer (Critical Information)
LungCare BD does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical treatment plans.
- The contents of the LungCare BD website, including the AI-supported symptom screening tool, the risk assessment survey, general text, graphics, and articles, are for educational and informational purposes only.
- The screening tool provides non-diagnostic risk guidance based on public health indices and self-reported answers. It does not replace a physical clinical consultation, lab work, or imaging (such as chest X-ray or CT scans).
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this website.
- If you are facing sudden health concerns, severe chest pain, or are coughing up blood, seek emergency hospital services immediately. In Bangladesh, you can dial 999 for general emergencies or 16263 for Health Batayan advice.
- To ensure users do not mistake AI assistance for a formal medical diagnosis, every interface screen and generated triage output will persistently display the following mandatory Bengali disclaimer: "এই তথ্য শুধুমাত্র সচেতনতার জন্য। এটি চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শের বিকল্প নয়।" (This information is for awareness only and is not a substitute for medical advice).
3. User Responsibilities & Conduct
As a user of this website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information when using the screening chat, survey, or volunteer forms.
- Not use the site for any commercial distribution or malicious programmatic query (web-scraping, bot floods).
- Keep account passwords and sessions confidential if you register for access.
4. Data Sovereignty and Privacy
Your privacy and the security of your medical data are foundational to LungCare BD.
- All participant data is protected through strict de-identification, meaning no names, patient identifiers, or medical record numbers are collected.
- To ensure strict data sovereignty and prevent any risk of external data leaks, all user testing and model inference will be conducted using locally-hosted models running entirely on United International University (UIU) institutional servers.
- Absolutely no participant inputs, symptom narratives, or uploaded medical images will transit international servers or be processed via third-party cloud AI APIs.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, LungCare BD and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on LungCare BD. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from LungCare BD for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
You must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, duplicate, or copy material from LungCare BD without direct, written authorization.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LungCare BD, its developers, contributors, or institutional associates be held liable for any health decisions, diagnostic errors, or complications arising from your use of the website or the screening tool. You use the tools and information strictly at your own risk. Furthermore, the system acts strictly as a triage assistant rather than a final diagnostic tool, and is engineered to withhold any triage output if the AI model's confidence falls below 70%.
7. Amendments and Changes
We reserve the right to revise and update these terms at any time. By continuing to use the website after changes are made, you agree to follow the revised terms.

- লাংকায়ার বিডি ওয়েবসাইটের বিষয়বস্তু, যার মধ্যে এআই-সমর্থিত উপসর্গ স্ক্রিনিং চ্যাট, ঝুঁকি মূল্যায়ন জরিপ, সাধারণ লেখা, ছবি এবং প্রবন্ধ অন্তর্ভুক্ত—তা শুধুমাত্র শিক্ষামূলক ও সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির উদ্দেশ্যে তৈরি।
- আমাদের স্ক্রিনিং সরঞ্জামটি ব্যবহারকারীদের দ্বারা দেওয়া উপসর্গের তথ্যের উপর ভিত্তি করে একটি সাধারণ শিক্ষামূলক গাইডলাইন প্রদান করে। এটি কোনো ক্লিনিকাল ডায়াগনোসিস, বুকের এক্স-রে বা সিটি স্ক্যানের বিকল্প নয়।

৩. ব্যবহারকারীর দায়িত্ব ও আচরণ

আপনার গোপনীয়তা এবং আপনার মেডিকেল ডাটার নিরাপত্তা লাংকায়ার বিডি-র জন্য অত্যন্ত মৌলিক ভিত্তি।
- সমস্ত অংশগ্রহণকারীর ডাটা কঠোর ছদ্মনামকরণ (de-identification) এর মাধ্যমে সুরক্ষিত রাখা হয়, যার অর্থ কোনো নাম, রোগী শনাক্তকারী নম্বর বা মেডিকেল রেকর্ড নম্বর সংগ্রহ করা হয় না।
- কঠোর ডাটা সার্বভৌমত্ব নিশ্চিত করতে এবং বাহ্যিক ডাটা ফাঁসের কোনো ঝুঁকি এড়াতে, সমস্ত ব্যবহারকারী পরীক্ষা এবং মডেল ইনফারেন্স সম্পূর্ণরূপে ইউনাইটেড ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি (UIU) এর নিজস্ব প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক সার্ভারে স্থানীয়ভাবে হোস্ট করা মডেল ব্যবহার করে পরিচালিত হবে।
- অংশগ্রহণকারীদের কোনো ইনপুট, উপসর্গের বিবরণ বা আপলোড করা মেডিকেল ইমেজ আন্তর্জাতিক সার্ভারে পাঠানো হবে না বা কোনো তৃতীয় পক্ষের ক্লাউড এআই এপিআই-এর মাধ্যমে প্রসেস করা হবে না।
৫. মেধা সম্পদ অধিকার
অন্য কোনোভাবে উল্লেখ না থাকলে, লাংকায়ার বিডি এবং/অথবা এর লাইসেন্সদাতারা লাংকায়ার বিডি-র সমস্ত উপকরণের মেধা সম্পদ অধিকারের মালিক। সমস্ত মেধা সম্পদ অধিকার সংরক্ষিত। আপনি ব্যক্তিগত ব্যবহারের জন্য এই শর্তাবলী সাপেক্ষে সাইটের তথ্য ব্যবহার করতে পারেন।
লিখিত অনুমতি ছাড়া লাংকায়ার বিডি-র কন্টেন্ট বা কোনো উপাদান পুনপ্রকাশ করা, বিক্রি করা বা কপি করা সম্পূর্ণ নিষিদ্ধ।
৬. দায়বদ্ধতার সীমাবদ্ধতা
লাংকায়ার বিডি, এর ডেভেলপার, কন্ট্রিবিউটর বা সহযোগী প্রতিষ্ঠান কোনোভাবেই আপনার এই সাইট ব্যবহারের ফলে নেওয়া কোনো স্বাস্থ্য সিদ্ধান্ত বা রোগ নির্ণয়ের ভুলের জন্য দায়ী থাকবে না। আপনি সম্পূর্ণ নিজের দায়িত্বে এই সাইট এবং এর স্ক্রিনিং সরঞ্জাম ব্যবহার করছেন। তদুপরি, সিস্টেমটি চূড়ান্ত রোগ নির্ণয়ের সরঞ্জামের পরিবর্তে কঠোরভাবে একটি ট্রায়াজ সহকারী হিসাবে কাজ করে এবং এআই মডেলের আত্মবিশ্বাস (confidence) ৭০% এর নিচে নামলে কোনো ট্রায়াজ ফলাফল প্রদান না করার জন্য এটিকে ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে।
৭. শর্তাবলীর পরিবর্তন
আমরা যেকোনো সময় এই শর্তাবলী সংশোধন ও পরিমার্জন করার অধিকার সংরক্ষণ করি। পরিবর্তিত শর্তাবলী প্রকাশের পর আপনার সাইট ব্যবহারের অর্থ হলো আপনি নতুন শর্তাবলীতে সম্মতি জানিয়েছেন।
